Lesley Patricia Proctor passed away after a long battle with her illness on 28 Jul 21 aged 64 years, surrounded by her family. Faithful wife of the late David, mother to Leigh, Mark and Glenn, Nan to Luke and Alfie, adopted mother to Kirsty and Samanta. Sister to Robert, Sandra and Anita, friend to many but particularly close to Derrick, Suki and John.

Lesley will be remembered for her lively personality, her altruism, her ability to talk to anyone about anything and for the great strides she made in developing child protection issues and maintaining youth football in the Coventry/ West Midlands area.  She was a Mum and Dad to us three boys and did her best to raise us right.  She was also a friend to many but as well as a Mother to many a waif and stray! Lesley (Mum) was always a shining light in the darkness of life.

The funeral service will take place at Canley Crematorium, 180 Canon Hill Road, CV4 7DF at 1215 pm on 23 Aug 21. No mourning attire is requested with Lesley wishing that those attending be respectful but comfortable to celebrate her life. Family flowers requested only, however personal donations if desired can be made in the memory of Lesley to The Myton Hospice Coventry which can be made via J.E. Mourners and friends are invited to the Unicorn Social Club, Holbrook Lane, Holbrooks, Coventry, CV6 4DE for the wake afterwards between 1315 and 1600 hrs.
